Notes: I strongly believe that Duncan and Christian Campbell lived in the Burnt Swamp/Philadelphus area of Robeson County. Other than their daughter Mary, nothing concrete has been found concerning the other daughters of the couple. Hugh moved eventually to Chesterfield District, SC; in a taxable property list in Robeson County dated 1801, he himself was not taxable indicating he was over the age of 45 that year placing his birth year before 1755.
